President Joe Biden has revealed that his administration is collaborating with Kenyan partner CSquared to construct a countrywide fiber network in Liberia that will assist in connecting one million Liberians to the internet under the United States' Digital Investment blended finance program.

"Therefore, our main goal is to create real opportunities, more equality, and a more safe, secure, and prosperous society. Going forward, we must keep investing together and aggressively. And we invite everyone to join this collaboration if they share this goal "At the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGII) Meeting on November 15, Biden made the comments.

As we've seen in recent years, improving health security ought to be a top concern for everyone. We just had a lengthy conversation on that.

The US president stated that, among other initiatives, his country will continue to assist the production of vaccines in Asia and Africa and invest $15 million through the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation in India's health infrastructure.

"And last but not least, gender fairness and gender equality. We can increase prosperity for everyone, he continued, when we invest in equal opportunity for women.

For the second time, infrastructure CSquared and the United States Agency for International Development will work together to aid Liberia by bringing top-tier, dependable, and reasonably priced broadband infrastructure to Monrovia.

In order to connect 51 government institutions to fast, dependable networks, CSquared Liberia, the Liberian government, and USAID formed a tripartite cooperation in 2014, led by former president Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.

After the Ebola virus outbreak in Liberia, the need for infrastructure, digitization programs, and economic growth in the country's capital Monrovia became apparent.

Leased Capacity and Dark Fiber are two services that were offered in Liberia and are primarily utilized by MNOs to connect their base stations. Capacity Pool and Managed Ethernet are aimed towards enterprise connections, such as banks and small to medium-sized organizations.

The collaboration was described at the time by the former president Sirleaf. "ICT is a crucial but frequently underappreciated component of economic development. We will strengthen the support for additional ICT-based projects and programs in Education, Health, and Infrastructure by increasing our connectivity through this effort.
