John Dumelo, born on February 3, 1984, in Ghana, is the only son in a family of three children. He began his education at Christ the King International School and later attended Achimota School before studying Civil Engineering at Kwame
Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

Dumelo's acting career started with the film "Baby Thief," and he gained prominence through roles in popular series like "Sun City" and "About To Wed." He has acted in over 80 films, including "The King is Mine," and has worked with notable actors such as Ramsey Noah and Omotola Jalade Ekeinde. Dumelo has received several awards, including Joy FM's Best Ghanaian Actor in 2009 and Africa's Most Outstanding Actor in 2011. Despite his success, he remains humble and dedicated to philanthropy, emphasizing the importance of staying grounded amidst fame.
