Grand Bassa County isn't profiting from the political rift within the county, according to Cllr. Charlyne Brumskine, the well-known daughter of the opposition Liberty Party's (LP) founding father.

The late Cllr. Charles W. Brumskine's daughter, Ms. Brumskine, is running for a seat in the House of Representatives.


Reconciliation is at the top of her campaign priority list. She contends that only sincere reconciliation will allow Grand Bassa County to advance politically.

She also believes that due of disagreements among county leaders, the county is not getting its fair portion of the national cake.
