The Students Unification Alliance (SUA) and the Tubman University Concerned Students Movement engaged in political violence on Wednesday, October 4, 2022, which led to the decision being made on Thursday, October 5, 2022. (TUCSM).
According to a statement released by the University, at least one student was hurt as a result of the violence.
The TU Administration is quoted in the announcement as adding that in addition to the disruption of regular academic activity, properties were also destroyed during the violence.
Until otherwise directed, all party attire, including berets, insignia, hand bands, and other accoutrements, is prohibited on campus.
The government has ordered the security division to conduct a thorough inquiry.
