Liberia News: The Elective Congress is Conducted by the Congress for Democratic Change

In order to pick a new corps of officers who would run the party's business for the upcoming constitutional term, the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) of President George Weah is now conducting its seventh congress.
Every post on the Party's National Executive Committee is up for grabs.
Additionally, the National Executive Committees of the Revolutionary National Youth League of the Party and the Women's League are declared.

Vacant and open to contestation, the aforementioned positions need interested parties to submit an application in accordance with the current application procedure being managed by the Congress Organizing Committee Secretariat in accordance with the published rules for the election at the congress.
National Chairman, Vice Chair for Administration, Vice Chair for Political Affairs, Vice Chair for Finance & Investment, Vice Chair for Operation, and Vice Chair for Legal & Governmental Affairs are among the positions that will be up for election.

Other positions include National Secretary General, Deputy Secretary for Administration, Deputy Secretary for Research and Record, Deputy Secretary for Press and Public Affairs, Vice Chair for Planning, Policy and Program, Vice Chair for International Affairs, Vice Chair for Gender Affairs, Treasurer, and Champlain General.
The 7th National Congress Organizing Committee of the Congress for Democratic informed all accredited delegates, partisans, supporters, observers, and the general public of the ongoing conduct of the Party's 7th National Congress, whose business session is scheduled for November 20–26, 2022, in a release issued under the chairmanship of Atty. Alexander V. S. Saylee.

The National Patriotic Party (NPP), led by Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor, and the Liberian People Democratic Party (LPDP), led by former Speaker Alex Tyler, host all congress activities at their national headquarters.
