Tax auditors from the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) are in Paynesville for a week-long professional training in tax audit.

The training is targeted at the gaming sector in order to improve the auditors' abilities to carry out effective audits and compliance checks in Liberia's gaming sector.
LRA Commissioner for Domestic Tax Department, Darlingston Y. Talery, spoke during the opening session and called the training a crucial endeavor aimed at improving staff capability in managing efficient tax audits of the gambling industry.
In an effort to increase the sector's earnings, he urged participants to enroll in the program in order to broaden their knowledge of tax auditing and develop new skill sets.

According to Commissioner Talery, "I implore you to open up your minds, ask all the questions, and take this opportunity to learn and make yourself better... and help mobilize more money for Liberia."
